a little bit about me
I may have been homegrown in the rough and tough state of Wyoming, but hair has always been a soft spot in my life. I've had long hair for as long as I can remember—though stepping into motherhood recently brought some big changes there (hello, short hair season—ha!). Still, styling my hair has always been one of my favorite creative outlets.
Whenever someone needs help with their hair, I’m the first to jump in. What started as a fun way to help friends soon turned into something more. After being asked to style hair for several weddings, I realized that what had once been a hobby was quickly becoming my passion!

My business name, Stranded WyoSoul, is a reflection of my story—both personal and professional.
"Stranded" represents two sides of who I am: as a hairstylist, it speaks to the strands of hair I work with so often, crafting beauty one strand at a time. But it also carries a deeper meaning, inspired by my faith. At one time, I was a stranded soul—lost and uncertain—until I experienced the grace and rescue of Jesus. That transformation is at the heart of everything I do.
"Wyo" stands for Wyoming, my home state and the place that shaped me. The rugged landscapes, the resilience of the people, and the deep roots I have there continue to influence my work and my values.
"Soul" ties it all together—because hairstyling, to me, isn’t just about appearance. It’s about making people feel beautiful, confident, and seen on a soul-deep level.
Stranded WyoSoul is more than a name. It’s my heart in a brand: a blend of faith, authenticity, and artistry.
